A postpartum doula is a trained professional providing non-medical physical, emotional, and informational support to families during the "fourth trimester," otherwise known as the first three months after giving birth.
I am not able to give or perform any medical advice or diagnosis. I don’t replace medical staff but can show you referrals to professionals around your area.

Newborn care such as feeding, diaper changes, soothing,
bottle and pump part cleaning
Emotional and physical support for the whole family
Light housekeeping to help around the house
Laundry
Sibling support to help the transition of a growing family.

For daytime support, I work a minimum of four hours per shift
For nighttime support, I work between eight and ten hour shifts
Sibling support is as necessary

Most families usually work with a postpartum doula from 4-8 weeks.
Doulas can be with a family anywhere from 3-5 times per week as needed.
The length of your contract is flexible to each families needs.

Typically a postpartum doula in San Diego can charge anywhere from 30-75 an hour
For daytime support I charge 35 per hour
Nighttime support I charge 45 per hour
Sibling and babysitting can be discussed depending on the age of the little human in being asked to care for
