  • A postpartum doula is a trained professional providing non-medical physical, emotional, and informational support to families during the "fourth trimester," otherwise known as the first three months after giving birth.

    I am not able to give or perform any medical advice or diagnosis. I don’t replace medical staff but can show you referrals to professionals around your area.

    • Newborn care such as feeding, diaper changes, soothing,

    • bottle and pump part cleaning

    • Emotional and physical support for the whole family

    • Light housekeeping to help around the house

    • Laundry

    • Sibling support to help the transition of a growing family.

  • For daytime support, I work a minimum of four hours per shift

    For nighttime support, I work between eight and ten hour shifts

    Sibling support is as necessary

  • Most families usually work with a postpartum doula from 4-8 weeks.

    Doulas can be with a family anywhere from 3-5 times per week as needed.

    The length of your contract is flexible to each families needs.

  • Typically a postpartum doula in San Diego can charge anywhere from 30-75 an hour

    For daytime support I charge 35 per hour

    Nighttime support I charge 45 per hour

    Sibling and babysitting can be discussed depending on the age of the little human in being asked to care for
